Everton boss David Moyes is keen to bolster his ranks and add more quality before the end of the transfer window.
It has been reported that Everton are considering a move to sign Harry Wilson from Fulham, but he may decide to wait until the summer window to move on a free transfer.
N’Golo Kante is also being linked to the Toffees, with Moyes keen to bring in another ball-winner to the midfield.
N’Golo Kante to Everton, YES or NO? 😮
Youssef En-Nesyri is another rumoured Everton target, but the Morocco international has concerns over living in England due to the weather.
With all that said, Everton News columnist Alan Myers has now issued a worrying transfer update.

Alan Myers doesn’t expect Everton to make any signings
Myers was asked on X whether he expects Everton to make any signings this winter, and his answer is certainly concerning.
“Not at the moment,” the journalist wrote. “I think that can change quickly if something presents itself, but that’s not the case atm I believe.”
Toffees CEO Angus Kinnear has already said something to a similar effect, as he explained the club will only sign players who they believe have a long-term future at the club.
“Across January, the Sky Sports transfer window ticker will countdown in milliseconds in an attempt to whip up a trading frenzy amongst their viewers, but all our experience demonstrates how challenging the winter market is to deliver quality and value,” Kinnear said in December.
“We will work towards identifying and executing opportunities that will make us stronger in the long term.”
David Moyes’ stance on the transfer window
Speaking earlier this month, Moyes actually admitted Everton are ‘unlikely’ to make any signings this winter.
What do you make to that Everton fans? 😒
The Scotsman added: “But I wouldn’t say that completely because obviously we are looking out there to see what there is and see if we can get something.
“But I just wouldn’t want to get everyone’s hopes up if we’re saying likely, then you might think that that means we’re on with something.
“We are looking at some players and we are looking to see if we can add to it, we will do. Ideally… always you’d want it (signings) earlier in the window.”
That stance could change after it came out that Jack Grealish could miss three months due to injury, so perhaps a new winger will be recruited in the final few days of the window.
