Everton are already on the lookout for summer additions ahead of the transfer window opening next month.
The summer market is set to be an exciting one for Everton as there could be some considerable changes made to their squad.
Abdoulaye Doucoure has threatened to leave Everton in the coming weeks if he does not receive any word on a potential new contract.
He is just one of many out-of-contract players who David Moyes needs to decide whether he would like to retain for next season.
Everton’s midfield could take quite the hit this summer with Idrissa Gana Gueye and Doucoure’s contracts ending and Orel Mangala set to return to Lyon.
However, the Blues have been given some optimism as Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali has just raved about one of Everton’s targets ahead of the window.

Newcastle United’s Sandro Tonali raves about Everton summer target
Everton are looking to sign new midfielders this summer following a transfer meeting held at Finch Farm.
One of the players who has been identified by Everton as a target is Sean Longstaff.
With a long-standing interest in the Englishman, Everton will be encouraged by Sandro Tonali’s recent praise of the £10m-rated midfielder.
When asked who his most underrated teammate ever is, Tonali replied: “Sean Longstaff here in Newcastle.”
Considering some of the players the Italian has played alongside both on Tyneside and at the San Siro, this is quite the compliment.
Longstaff has approved a move to Everton this summer with his time at St. James’ Park expected to come to an end this summer.
Although he is viewed as a massively underrated asset, Longstaff has not been given regular minutes this season by Eddie Howe.

Sean Longstaff could be smart addition for Everton
It is not just the Toffees who have thrown their hat in the ring to sign the Englishman.
Leeds United also hold an interest in Longstaff following their return to the Premier League.
Moyes is going to be desperate for midfield additions on the back of some of the injury issues they have experienced this season at Goodison Park.
The question is whether Longstaff is viewed as good enough to potentially play regular first-team football for the Blues.
Some Everton fans have criticised James Garner of late with the midfielder playing more frequently following Mangala’s absence.
Tonali clearly thinks Longstaff would be an upgrade on Garner, but some fans may well view it as a sideways move by the club.
