Everton have been heavily linked to Real Sociedad winger Takefusa Kubo over the last few weeks.
David Moyes has made a right-winger a top priority this summer transfer window, with Everton’s squad really light in that area.
Jack Harrison and Jesper Lindstrom have left a big void on the right flank, so the club have been drawing up a list of winger targets.
Ipswich Town’s Omari Hutchinson is being eyed by Moyes, as is West Bromwich Albion’s Tom Fellows, who almost joined in January.
The Toffees have considered a bid for Takefusa Kubo, too, and now his club president has just publicly addressed those rumours.

Real Sociedad president speaks out on Everton target Takefusa Kubo
Takefusa Kubo is keen on a move to the Premier League, and it seems Everton are the most concrete suitors, at this stage.
However, Sociedad president Aperribay has come out and insisted that there have been no offers thus far for Kubo and he is relaxed about the situation.
“We’re absolutely calm; we have enormous confidence in these players,” Jokin Aperribay told Noticias de Gipuzkoa.
“The only anti-virus that doesn’t exist is the player’s will, because it doesn’t make you bigger, it doesn’t make you better.
“Real players left when they told us: ‘I want out’. I don’t see any other way out. Something has to happen, and the players will give it their all.
“There is a buzz about Kubo, Brais [Mendez] and [Alex] Remiro. We don’t have any offers for them. The market noise… I don’t know what market noise is. Real has no offers for Kubo, Brais, or Remiro.”
Everton seem more focused on Malick Fofana
At this stage, it appears as though Everton are more focused on Lyon winger Malick Fofana than Kubo.
The Toffees were reportedly in advanced talks to sign Fofana, however, it then emerged that the 20-year-old was waiting for Champions League clubs to come in for him.
If they fail to get the Fofana deal over the line, then perhaps Moyes and his chiefs will submit an official bid for Kubo.
Everton have also explored a deal to sign Ben Doak from Merseyside rivals Liverpool, so he could pop up again as a target.
Doak is valued at £30m by the Reds.
