Everton have finally announced the signing of Adam Aznou, with the Bayern left-back joining as the fourth transfer of the summer.
Many fans would have been unaware of the 19-year-old at the start of the summer, but now he’s set to play a role in David Moyes’ squad.
Aznou has ‘incredible potential’ and Everton have the chance to unlock the Moroccan’s promise, as he’s put pen to paper on a four-year deal.
Moyes seems to be great with young players, as Harrison Armstrong is being nurtured as the next big thing for the Toffees, but Aznou can’t be too far behind with his signing.
With the deal over the line, there is something The Friedkin Group have included which could work well for the Toffees’ future and land them millions.

Everton rejected Bayern Munich’s buy-back clause for Aznou
Aznou is viewed as a long-term option, and while he may not provide too much of a threat to Vitaliy Mykolenko for the time being, the Ukrainian must be wary of his quality.
Moyes has said Aznou has a ‘good future’, and it seems as though Bayern were willing to bet on that being the case too.
That is because the German side wanted a buy-back clause for the young defender, certainly suggesting that they think he can become a big player in the future.
While the Bundesliga champions were looking to add that clause in, BILD journalist Nico Linner claims it was rejected by Everton, and instead Bayern will have matching rights for Aznou on any future deal that is agreed.
Although they got a clause of sorts, Vincent Kompany’s side may have to match a big fee for him, rather than sealing a specific figure in a buyback clause.

The Friedkin Group could gain £40m for Aznou after Everton tenure
With his arrival now sealed, Aznou will be eager to get his chance in the Premier League.
After already playing for the likes of Bayern and Barcelona, the 19-year-old’s portfolio speaks for itself and brings reason why Moyes secured his signature.
As mentioned, Mykolenko will have his spot, but if Aznou can reach the potential many know he can, the Scotsman will have no choice but to start him.
The brilliance from The Friedkins here is that with no buyback clause in the defender’s contract, Bayern will have to match any future offer, and it’s been predicted that Aznou could be worth £40 million.
Out of all the managers that could give him the chance to reach this ceiling, Moyes is the perfect option, and Everton will be praying this works in their favour as a sizeable fee could be coming their way in a few years.
