Everton have seven players who are entering the final year of their contracts heading into the 2026/27 season.

It looks like Everton could have another mini rebuild this time next year, depending on whether the club decide to offer out contract extensions.

The Friedkin Group want to drive down the average age of the squad, so some of the older heads are likely to depart the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

With that said, here are all the Toffees first-teamers who are currently due to leave in 2027.

Dwight McNeil

As it stands, Dwight McNeil is set to leave the club on a free transfer in 12 months time.

However, it has been reported that West Ham United are interested in McNeil as they look to gain promotion from the Championship.

Everton will no doubt be keen to get a fee for the 26-year-old whilst they can.

Beto

Beto is another Everton star who may be moved on this summer to avoid losing him on a free after shelling out £30m on his signature in 2023.

The Toffees were open to selling Beto in January and received enquiries from the likes of Juventus and Fenerbahce.

The Friedkins want £17m to sanction his sale.

Tim Iroegbunam

Tim Iroegbunam may depart this summer as newly-promoted Ipswich Town and Hull City are keen on landing his signature.

Everton are asking for £20m for Iroegbunam, although that figure will likely be haggled down if he is to be sold.

Carlos Alcaraz

It’s been a strange 18 months for Carlos Alcaraz on Merseyside.

The Argentine midfielder impressed in his first six months on loan and then, since being bought permanently, David Moyes has hardly given him any game time.

Alcaraz was linked with a move to River Plate earlier this summer, so there could be some movement on that front in the coming weeks.

Nathan Patterson

Nathan Patterson just isn’t fancied by Moyes and is another one who could depart ahead of his contract expiring.

Sheffield United and Rangers are possible destinations for Patterson.

Michael Keane

Michael Keane penned a one-year contract extension in April after enjoying a productive campaign last term.

The 33-year-old will probably spend one more year at Finch Farm before both parties part ways after 10 years.

Tom King

Tom King, who joined from Wolves last summer, is Jordan Pickford’s back-up and may still be needed as a number two or three beyond his current contract.
