David Moyes and Everton will be content with the draw at Brentford but Vitaliy Mykolenko will be thrilled with what happened during the game.

Everton continue their brilliant form in the Premier League after making it seven games unbeaten against the Bees.

The Toffees boss makes more history as Moyes equals the record of seven unbeaten showing how well the Scotsman is doing.

Jake O’Brien got one over Sean Dyche as the Irishman grabbed his first goal for Everton gaining a point for the Blues.

It was a momentous day for O’Brien but also for Mykolenko who did something for the first time on his 100th Everton appearance.

What Everton’s Vitaliy Mykolenko did for the first time vs Brentford

Evetonians are enjoying the performances of the squad as every player seems to be pulling their weight at the moment.

Someone who has gone under the radar is Mykolenko who has proved Everton fans’ criticism wrong.

The Ukrainian has always been a solid addition to the Toffees, but on his 100th game for Everton, he did something that shows how Moyes is getting the best out of his players.

Mykolenko provided his first-ever Premier League assist in his fourth season with the club.

This makes the 25-year-old the first Everton player to provide an assist on his 100th league appearance since Duncan Ferguson in April 1998 vs Leicester City.

Despite Mykolenko’s assist, Everton’s crossing and set-pieces must improve

Even though the Toffees’ goal came from an expert cross from the Ukrainian, this didn’t reflect on Moyes’ side’s success from the flanks.

The Everton boss knows his side need to work on their crossing output, but against Brentford, it seems as though nothing could go right, and that’s the same for their set-piece success.

Everton fans called out Charlie Adams’ set-pieces as Moyes trusted the former Liverpool man to take on the role.

But after the Toffees’ start from crossing and set plays, serious work is needed.

It was made clear by Moyes that Everton needed to improve set-pieces and that still remains a factor over a month into his return.
