Everton are one of the clubs that are showing an interest in the Manchester City winger Jack Grealish.

The Toffees are looking to make a lot of signings this summer to build their numbers back up following their free agent departures.

David Moyes wants a new winger and made it clear his desire to do so after he replaced Sean Dyche in January.

Everton allowed Jack Harrison and Jesper Lindstrom to return to their parent clubs after their respective loan deals.

It does look like Everton are close to signing Thierno Barry as their new number nine, with talks advanced.

However, Moyes will want to see creative players brought in around him, and Jack Grealish is one on their radar.

Everton handed Jack Grealish transfer date

With a big summer ahead of the Toffees, Everton have identified Grealish as a target in what would be an opportunistic deal.

The Friedkins want to make a statement signing for Everton, and Grealish could certainly be that player.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Grealish’s future could now be decided much earlier than initially expected.

It had previously been claimed Grealish was ready to decide on his next club late into the summer, with Champions League football a priority.

City are expected to return to training in Manchester on July 28, and there is a hope among those at the club Grealish’s future will be sealed by then.

The report describes the potential situation as ‘awkward’ if Guardiola was to welcome Grealish back to training.

Grealish was dropped from City’s Club World Cup squad and has since been spotted enjoying his summer break.

But make no mistake, a huge decision lies ahead for the former England international.

Everton move makes a lot of sense for Grealish

Everton News understands Grealish is happy living in the north west, which could prove as a real advantage for the Blues.

But there are other factors which could play into their favour too, as Moyes could offer him regular football.

Grealish will be keen to return to the England squad for the 2026 World Cup, and playing week in and week out will be key to his hopes.

Rio Ferdinand urged Grealish to move to Saudi Arabia, but a move to Everton would make a lot of sense.

Regular football at a club on the rise spells the perfect recipe for the 29-year-old to return to his best form.
