Everton’s new owners have shown they mean business from the moment they touched down on Merseyside.

The January transfer window did not see David Moyes handed a number of new faces to pull the club away from the relegation battle.

Having recently been handed the keys, the Friedkins were still having to be wary of Everton’s PSR worries.

However, the Friedkins are now ready to fund a big summer transfer window.

It is going to be an interesting summer on the field and off it for the Toffees with major changes set to be made on Merseyside.

And it now appears the Friedkins are set to make a big investment to help Moyes in the market.

The Friedkins to purchase data company in Everton recruitment boost

It has not all been good news for the Friedkins as Everton are set to lose Dan Purdy as their head of recruitment.

The big changes behind the scenes is now set to see the 31-year-old move on despite being offered a new role at the club.

However, according to City AM, Everton’s owners are expected to make the purchase of a data company to help their manager recruit in the market.

The Friedkins are restructuring the club’s recruitment system following their 100-day review after taking over in December.

Kevin Thelwell will leave Everton for Rangers in what is the biggest change to be made.

But there will be new faces coming in to the club ahead of the summer to provide a fresh outlook going into the Friedkins’ first summer window.

Angus Kinnear is joining Everton from Leeds United when the season comes to an end, despite their promotion to the top flight.

Adding the data company to their arsenal will be viewed as another step forward for the Friedkins as they look to keep Everton’s progression going.

Everton changing to European-style recruitment system

The Friedkins landed on Merseyside in December with experience in the world of football.

They have taken AS Roma to Europa Conference League success in recent years and shown they are capable of taking clubs forward.

Some Roma fans have been frustrated by the Friedkins with some of the decisions they have made in the past.

However, the work they have done on Merseyside has looked positive so far.

Everton will change to a European-based recruitment system this summer as they look to really boost the quality of the squad inherited from the previous regime.

The proof will be in the pudding at the end of the summer when the window closes, though.
