Everton have announced Kevin Thelwell has accepted a new role at Rangers ahead of his summer departure.
A major reshuffle is taking place on Merseyside following the Friedkins’ takeover at Everton back in December.
It has only been a matter of months, but it already looks like a completely different club.
The Friedkins made a brilliant call in appointing David Moyes as their Sean Dyche replacement, with the club already safe from the drop.
However, the changing of manager is not the only thing that is being altered at Goodison Park.
Heading into the summer transfer window, the Friedkins want Everton to boast an improved recruitment model, which is going to see new faces land at the club.
With Thelwell leaving for Rangers, there was an exciting line in his departing announcement by the club which teased further changes to come.

Everton share intriguing Kevin Thelwell statement
Amid the news of Thelwell’s departure ahead of the summer, Everton are close to appointing Nick Hammond as their new lead on all things transfer-related.
It is going to be an exciting summer on Merseyside with a lot of work needing to be done to improve the squad inherited from the previous regime.
Announcing Thelwell’s move to Rangers on Wednesday, Everton did share some encouraging news which may have gone unnoticed in the official statement.
Right at the very end, the statement read: ‘Incoming Everton CEO Angus Kinnear will lead the implementation of the new sporting leadership team, with senior appointments to be announced in due course.’
Everton have already appointed Angus Kinnear from Leeds United and he will arrive at the club at the conclusion of the current campaign.
However, there is also the suggestion that Everton are looking to bring some of his Leeds United colleagues with him.
Alongside the expected move for Hammond, Everton also want to appoint Gary Penrice from Leeds to really beef up their new European-style recruitment scheme.

What Kevin Thelwell said about joining Rangers
Everton fans have praised Thelwell for his work at the club following what has clearly been a difficult time in the history of the Toffees.
Some may even feel it is a shame the 51-year-old wasn’t handed the opportunity to show his skills under the new ownership.
But it quickly became apparent the Friedkins wanted to move on from what they were left behind by Farhad Moshiri.
A huge summer awaits Everton with the move to Bramley-Moore Dock, and the Friedkins are ready to back Moyes in the market.
But Thelwell is now looking forward to his new opportunity up in Glasgow.
“This is a huge honour for me to be joining a club with the size, stature and expectations of Rangers,” said Thelwell.
“From the first conversations, it was clear to me how ambitious the club is, and I’m excited to play a part in shaping its next chapter.”
