Everton manager David Moyes will be hoping he can bring in some new faces over the January transfer window to push for a top half finish.
Considering the absences Everton are currently dealing with, the January window has come at the right time for the Blues.
Moyes is currently without some of his top players due to injuries and International duty with the Africa Cup of Nations.
Speaking last week, Angus Kinnear shared just how difficult January could be for Everton given it is always a window of opportunity.
Not many sides will be in the market to pull off some big deals, but Everton could certainly benefit from some additions.
Dwight McNeil has been linked with an Everton departure in January, which has already sparked a response from his manager.

What David Moyes has said about Dwight McNeil’s Everton future
McNeil was given the nod by Moyes over Tyler Dibling at the weekend for the game against Arsenal.
It was not necessarily a decision which paid off for the 62-year-old who hooked McNeil later on in the game.
With a Sean Dyche reunion mooted this week, Moyes hit back at the speculation during his press conference on Tuesday.
How much could Everton sell Dwight McNeil for?
“Well I don’t know where that’s come from because, unless someone else has heard that, as the manager of the football club, I’ve not heard that,” Moyes responded.
“It’s difficult to answer as there’s no plan for that, no.”
Having heard the rumours, a lot of Nottingham Forest fans have slammed the notion of signing McNeil from Everton.
The midfielder is not someone who has played a big role in Moyes’ plans this season, which could leave him pining for more regular game time elsewhere.

Moyes plays down January transfer speculation
Earlier in the month, Fabrizio Romano said Everton are not desperate for January deals and will only dive into the market if the right opportunity arises.
It would appear as if this may well be the case as Moyes shed some light on how he envisions the January window unfolding.
How many signings do you want to see made in January? 💰
A striker, a midfielder and a right-back… are we missing anything here?
“I’ve always said that I don’t think we’ll be doing loads of business in January,” he said.
“If we find some players we would be delighted to do it and the CEO [Angus Kinnear] and the owners will be too. But it’s more to do with trying to have a plan. The ownership want us to have a plan and prepare and do everything in a certain fashion.”
This may not be the news Everton fans were wanting to hear, but it just goes to show the approach which the owners now have on Merseyside.
