David Moyes handed out what was just Tyler Dibling’s second Premier League start for Everton on Saturday against Burnley.
The Toffees were forced to settle for just a point against Scott Parker’s struggling Clarets at Turf Moor.
Everton were forced into a number of changes on Saturday as Jack Grealish was sidelined through illness, according to his manager.
That did open the door for Dibling to finally make an appearance from the starting XI, though.
Dibling almost doubled his tally of Premier League minutes for the entire season before being replaced by Nathan Patterson.
Everton fans were impressed with Dibling’s performance in Lancashire on Saturday and Moyes shared his own verdict on the 19-year-old’s showing.

Everton captain James Tarkowski has praised Dibling’s work in training prior to the game at Turf Moor.
The youngster was one of the few bright sparks on display for Everton in what was a very underwhelming performance on the whole.
Speaking to the media after the game, Moyes was specifically asked for his thoughts on Dibling’s performance.

“I thought he showed moments – first half, probably more so. I think he’ll be pleased. He got the minutes in,” said the 62-year-old.
Tony Hibbert urged Dibling to remain patient for his opportunity to come amid Iliman Ndiaye’s absence.
Despite being snubbed last time out against the Gunners, Dibling certainly took his chance in his 88-minute display.
However, Moyes seemed unwilling to show the youngster too much praise.

Jamie Carragher does not think Moyes trusts Dibling just yet and that may have been made clear in his post-match interview.
Everton News awarded Dibling with a solid 7/10 rating for his showing against the Clarets after causing Burnley’s back line some issues.

By no means was it a complete performance, but he could have quite easily walked away with an assist had Beto been alert enough to convert his cross early in the game.
It will be interesting to see whether Dibling keeps his spot on Tuesday if Grealish does return to the fold.
Dwight McNeil was chosen over Dibling last weekend, but the 19-year-old showed significantly more than his teammate against Burnley.
