Everton are now just an hour away from their penultimate game of 2025 against Burnley at Turf Moor.

David Moyes’ options have been extremely stretched over recent weeks due to injuries, suspensions and now international duty.

The Toffees have tasted defeat in both of their previous two games in the Premier League against Chelsea and Arsenal.

Everton want to add quality in the January window, but two more games remain until the market opens for business.

If Moyes is going to achieve some of the lofty goals he is setting for his side this season then Everton simply have to pick up three points against the likes of Burnley.

With that said, here is your Everton starting XI to face Burnley…

Tyler Dibling handed rare Everton start vs Burnley

Against Arsenal, Moyes selected Dwight McNeil over Tyler Dibling, but the 26-year-old was withdrawn for the youngster later in the game.

A lot has been made of the duo back at Finch Farm given Moyes has barely used his big-money summer signing.

He will finally get his second start of the season on Saturday against Scott Parker’s side.

James Tarkowski has been impressed with Dibling during the training sessions, but that has not translated into minutes for the winger.

There has even been speculation about the future of McNeil.

During a recent press conference, Moyes denied any notion that McNeil will leave Everton when the January transfer window opens in a matter of days.

Jack Grealish misses Everton clash

Against Chelsea, Jack Grealish suffered a hamstring injury, but he was able to make the game against Arsenal at the weekend.

It would appear that he may still be suffering from that issue as he misses the trip to Lancashire on Saturday.

Everton are now without Iliman Ndiaye, Grealish and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, which will require some others to step up.

It is a real blow for Moyes, but hopefully it will be a precaution as Everton play again on Tuesday evening.
