Everton have boasted one of the most solid backlines in the Premier League once again this season.

Even under Sean Dyche, the Toffees have been able to front an impressive defensive record.

David Moyes has been able to keep that going in his three months back on Merseyside.

But with the likes of Michael Keane being set to leave Everton in the summer when his contract runs out, the Blues need defensive additions.

Everton have completely transformed their recruitment structure ahead of the window opening.

Nick Hammond has already been tasked to find a new centre-back ahead of his move to Everton in the summer.

The Toffees have now entered a four-way Premier League battle to land a Champions League semi-finalist.

Everton eyeing move for Inter Milan’s Yann Bisseck

Speculation remains surrounding the future of Jarrad Branthwaite who has interest in Manchester United, among others.

Everton News understands Branthwaite is not expected to leave Everton this summer despite numerous Premier League clubs throwing their hats in the ring.

According to Team Talk, however, Everton are looking to still add to their defence when the window opens for business.

And the Toffees are one of four Premier League clubs who have inquired about Inter Milan defender Yann Bisseck.

The following clubs have also been credited with an interest:

Inter are willing to sell at the right price with the Italian giants believed to value the German at around £30m-£34m.

Everton have lost James Tarkowski to injury following the game on the weekend against Manchester City.

Obviously, nothing can be done now to add to the squad, but his absence will only highlight the lack of quality available in his position from the bench.

Inter will sell Yann Bisseck under one condition favouring TFG

After landing back on Merseyside in January, Moyes made it clear he wanted new defenders signed, but he has had to wait until the summer.

Everton are going to find themselves in a much better financial position this time around following just a matter of months under the Friedkins.

Bisseck is available this summer, but Inter will only sell the defender after the conclusion of the FIFA Club World Cup, which will run from June 14th to July 13th.

This is not something that should bother Everton too much as the Friedkins are looking to make signings after June 30th when the new PSR window opens.
