Everton are eyeing up attacking options from inside the Premier League.
The deadline is quickly sneaking up on Kevin Thelwell who will be feeling the pressure from the expectant Everton fans.
Evan Ferguson is a target for Everton before the deadline on Monday night with the Toffees needing a new striker.
David Moyes is heading into the weekend’s game against Leicester City with Beto as his only senior striker fit and available.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin is set to be sidelined for a while, but the full extent of his hamstring injury is yet to be shared.
Ironically, it is Saturday’s opponents who could offer Everton with relief from their striker issues.

Leicester City open to selling Everton Patson Daka
Moyes wants to see Everton sign a new forward before the deadline falls on Monday evening.
The demand for a new striker has increased over recent days due to the injury issues which the Toffees have been hit with.
And according to iNews, Leicester would be open to the notion of selling Patson Daka to Everton before Monday.
Everton are keen to invest in a player for their long-term future not just an option to guide them away from the threat of relegation.
It is claimed players from overseas are being considered due to Thelwell’s connections in France.
Moyes is open to buying players from abroad with Premier League experience not an absolute deal breaker for the 60-year-old.
Former Leicester player Iwan Roberts previously praised Daka as ‘brilliant’ on LCFC Radio.
Daka has only started one game in the Premier League this season, but he has been able to return a goal in his mere 266 minutes.
Leicester willing to strengthen a relegation rival
The extent of Leicester’s PSR worries is apparent if they are willing to strengthen Everton’s side.
Fans will be keen to point out that Moyes has taken Everton seven-points clear of the drop zone over the last two games.
However, a bad result for the Blues on the weekend could quickly change that.
Everton are also in the running to sign Taiwo Awoniyi from Nottingham Forest with the Reds flying high at the top end of the table.
But Leicester improving a relegation rival would surely only highlight their PSR concerns.
