The first test event at Everton’s new stadium is in the books with 10,000 supporters getting their first taste of their new home.
Everton’s first team will have to wait their turn to take to the pitch at Bramley-Moore Dock.
It was Everton’s U18s who hosted the first test even with Wigan Athletic taking the victory on the night with a 2-1 win.
Everton manager Keith Southern was wowed by Bramley-Moore Dock with the youth coach stunned by how close to the pitch the stands were.
Another set of fans will now be waiting for their turn ahead of the next proposed test event before the official opening.
However, Liverpool manager Arne Slot has already made one joke about the new stadium following Monday’s test event.

Liverpool’s Arne Slot jokes about Everton’s Bramley-Moore Dock
The first goalscorer at Bramley-Moore Dock was a Wigan player, with the Latics taking a 2-0 lead before the Toffees scored.
Harrison Rimmer mocked Everton fans with his celebration as he clearly demonstrated his love for Liverpool.
And it seems as if the Liverpool manager has been made aware of that as he brought it up in the first moments of his press conference on Tuesday.
One of the journalists mentioned to Slot that he was in attendance for the test event on Monday.
But the Dutchman responded by saying: ‘Who scored the first? Oh,” he laughed.
Slot did praise Everton and David Moyes after their draw last week, with the Blues able to restrict the league leaders’ attacking powers.
But it seems the Liverpool boss has not let go of the disappointment in dropping points late on as he took one final dig at the Toffees.
Everton set for major financial boost through their new stadium
Through moving to Bramley-Moore Dock, Everton could double their annual matchday revenue stream.
But the possibilities are endless for the Friedkins who will be looking to maximise the capabilities of their new stadium.
Moyes did not want to leave Goodison Park when the plans were initially being discussed to build a new stadium.
However, the new ground is going to really help Everton progress off the pitch with some big opportunities set to arise from their new home.
