Everton are just three games out from enjoying a well-deserved summer break.
The 2024/25 campaign has certainly been a mixed bag for Everton, with the Toffees experiencing some major changes over recent months.
More changes are set to follow as the Friedkins look to put their own stamp on the club ahead of the summer window.
David Moyes has been holding crunch contract talks at Everton over the last week or so with a number of players potentially set to depart.
Injuries have been a major issue for the Toffees, too.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin has returned from injury and he even managed to get some minutes under his belt at the weekend against Ipswich Town.
But there has been another player return to Finch Farm training which may come as a surprise to some fans.

Harrison Armstrong returns to Everton training after Derby loan
Young midfielder Harrison Armstrong is being tipped for big things in an Everton shirt.
Armstrong impressed in his loan spell with Derby County having earned himself regular minutes in the Championship.
With the Rams now done for the summer, Armstrong has made his return to Finch Farm and immediately joined in with training.
Everton released some images on Friday morning from a recent training session on Merseyside ahead of the game against Fulham.
Armstrong was one of the players who could be spotted in the images.
Despite concluding his impressive loan at Pride Park, the 18-year-old is looking to make a bigger impression on Moyes ahead of the summer.
Speaking to the club following his return, Armstrong has shared his desire to play under Moyes next season at Bramley-Moore Dock.
This is a youngster with big aspirations and a clear confidence in his own ability on the back of the stint at Derby.
David Moyes will keep a keen eye on Harrison Armstrong
These coming weeks could be huge for the midfielder after Moyes scouted Armstrong whilst on loan at Derby.
The 62-year-old Everton manager was keen to keep track of how his young prospect was getting on at Pride Park.
During his time with the Championship side, Armstrong was hailed ‘phenomenal’ by John Eustace who took over Derby earlier this year.
However, in a recent press conference, Moyes was also keen to keep Armstrong grounded ahead of the summer.
Moyes admitted Armstrong could leave on loan again when the window opens with nothing being promised for him on Merseyside.
There will be a host of Championship clubs waiting to potentially take the 18-year-old for next season, but he has an opportunity to impress for now at Finch Farm.
