Everton’s January has certainly been a busy one with a lot of changes being made away from the pitch.
David Moyes has made his return to Merseyside, and there has been a reaction over the weekend with the victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
Although Sunday provided Everton fans with something to cheer about, there has been a frustrating development in the days since.
It has been suggested Everton are unlikely to sign Ernest Nuamah from Lyon with the winger set to remain in France.
With under two weeks remaining, there is not a great deal of time for Everton to dwell on any setbacks in the transfer window.

Everton working behind-the-scenes on transfers
Kevin Thelwell and Moyes are assessing Everton’s transfer shortlist with the first signing of the month still in the works.
Taking to social media, Alan Myers has suggested Everton are working on potential transfer additions behind the scenes at Finch Farm.
‘All quiet as far as I’m aware, I’m sure there’s plenty going on behind the scenes but I don’t know what,’ he said.
Missing out on the 21-year-old winger will come as a blow with the Friedkins confident of signing Nuamah after the conversations held last week.
But Everton must move on quickly and identify potential alternatives with the clock ticking down to the window shutting in early February.
Everton have around £40m to spend in this month’s window following the latest PSR developments on Merseyside.
Everton could increase their PSR room with Beto sale
Before and during this January transfer window, Beto has received interest from Serie A with Torino the real frontrunners.
The striker could depart on a permanent sale this month which would create more PSR freedom to spend.
It is believed Moyes has angered Beto by not starting him in either of his opening two games back as the Everton boss.
However, it is not a simple decision in potentially offloading Beto with Moyes only having the 26-year-old and Dominic Calvert-Lewin to select from up top.
