Friendly number two of the summer is now in the books for Everton with defeat coming away to Blackburn Rovers.
David Moyes will be keen to remind people that these games are about getting the players’ fitness levels up to scratch.
However, it was not a pretty showing from Everton.
The Toffees found themselves behind inside the opening 10 minutes and were unable to claw a way back into the game, like they did on Tuesday evening.
Harrison Armstrong impressed Everton fans against Accrington Stanley, but there were not too many positives to take on Saturday.
Having made three signings this summer, there was one debut made against the Championship outfit and Mark Travers made his mark on the game.

Mark Travers wows Blackburn Rovers fans on his Everton debut
Having lost Asmir Begovic and Joao Virginia as free agents, Everton purchased Travers from AFC Bournemouth.
The 26-year-old made an immediate impact by replacing Harry Tyrer between the sticks.
After Armstrong conceded a free-kick right on the edge of the Everton box, Travers pulled off a stunning save to deny Rovers their second.
Harry Pickering thought he had scored, but the Everton debutant flew across his goal to deny the hosts.
Even the home fans thought they had scored, with large sections of their supporters even left applauding the save from Travers.
It is believed Tyrer has now been put up for sale by Everton on the back of Travers’ arrival on Merseyside.
There was little he could do to prevent Rovers taking the lead, but Travers certainly impressed with his save in the second half.

Everton have solid backup to Jordan Pickford
Travers was not bought to replace Jordan Pickford, with the England number one firmly the first choice at Everton.
Jamie Carragher named Pickford as Everton’s best player last season; the Englishman is slowly returning to the fold after an extended break.
However, Moyes will be delighted by the performance from Travers, who showed he is more than capable of providing sufficient backup for Pickford.
Speaking about the save, Liverpool Echo’s Joe Thomas had this to say: “Absolutely stunning save from Travers to push over a curling effort from Harry Pickering. Wow, what a stop.”
The 26-year-old will be seen more during the summer, and he may be expecting some minutes in cup competitions this term.
