Everton have just six days to wrap up their business for the summer transfer before Monday’s deadline.
David Moyes has now seen eight players come through the doors at Finch Farm this summer, but there is room for more arrivals.
Speaking to the media during the pre-season tour of the United States, Moyes admitted he wanted nine Everton signings made.
The Blues could potentially end the summer with double-digit signings after the numerous departures from Merseyside in June.
Everton are in the market for a new midfielder, having now signed Tyler Dibling in a £35m deal from Southampton.
There are a number of options for Everton, but David Moyes is keen to reunite with Tomas Soucek following their time together at West Ham.

West Ham send Everton message after Tomas Soucek bid
Everton have a long-standing interest in Soucek, but it is going to prove a difficult deal to pull off at this stage in the window.
It is also worth noting that Everton are also interested in Lucas Paqueta, with a difficult season ahead for the Hammers.
According to The Athletic, Everton have now seen a fresh enquiry knocked back by West Ham for Soucek.
The rejection was also replied with West Ham informing the Toffees that they do not plan to part with the Czech midfielder before Monday.
Some optimism is handed to Everton in the report, though. It is claimed that West Ham would not sanction Soucek’s exit unless a replacement was found.
Ironically, both Everton and West Ham hold an interest in Yves Bissouma, who looks destined to leave Tottenham Hotspur.
Perhaps the Mali midfielder could open the door for Everton to sign Soucek, if he was to make the switch across London this week.

David Moyes adores Tomas Soucek
Moyes and Soucek have a strong bond after the 62-year-old brought him to the Premier League as the West Ham manager.
Some Everton fans are cautious about potentially signing Soucek, though.
However, if there is one manager who can get the best out of the midfielder, it is Moyes, and the Scot is a huge admirer of Soucek.
“He’s done brilliantly since he came to the country. I think to come and hit the ground running in the Premier League is really difficult, but he’s not only done that, he’s made a difference,” said Moyes during his time at West Ham.
Soucek may not be everyone’s choice, but he would certainly offer this Everton side something different.
