Everton have just one week to pull off any of their winter transfer targets for David Moyes.

The Friedkins saw greater pressure put on them to act in the transfer market over the weekend with injuries picked up against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Moyes is concerned about Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Orel Mangala’s injuries as the Toffees await for results to return on the pair.

It has been the story of Everton’s season as they continue to lose players to potentially long-term injury setbacks.

Although results have drastically improved under Moyes, the 60-year-old may be concerned about the viability of their form if his selection options are limited.

Everton must use Tottenham Hotspur’s current issues as a warning not to risk causing further injuries by leaving Moyes with the same pool of players to start each game.

Chelsea expect Everton to make late double swoop

Everton and Chelsea have been in talks over Armando Broja and his loan deal on Merseyside following his injury setback.

Potential opportunities are opening for the Toffees as Everton show an interest in Ben Chilwell.

However, he is not the only player on their radar with The Athletic suggesting Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall could also be on the move.

Although there has been no fresh movement for the pair, Chelsea are expecting clubs to come in for their players over the coming week.

Everton have seen Tim Iroegbunam return from injury alongside James Garner recently.

However, options at left-back are extremely limited with Vitaliy Mykolenko the only senior option for Moyes to choose from.

Everton need Armando Broja off the books

It has been recently suggested Broja is set to remain at Everton to undergo his rehabilitation from his latest injury issue.

But Everton need to act with their interests at hand on this occasion with the threat of relegation not completely put to bed.

There was a lot of excitement at Everton over Broja’s potential, but injuries have hindered his time on Merseyside.

With the striker set to miss the remaining months of the season, it is time for Everton to move on from the situation.
