Everton put on a real display for their fans on Saturday in the win over Leicester City.
Three points for David Moyes’ side has made it three wins from his opening four games in the Premier League.
A well-deserved rest will now be handed to Everton from league action, which will allow the club to focus on the final days of the transfer window.
There were some really impressive performances out there at Goodison Park against the Foxes.
James Garner shone on his return from injury as he deputised for the absent Orel Mangala who will miss the remainder of the season.
But there was one player which his midfield partner Idrissa Gana Gueye especially picked out for praise after the full-time whistle.

Everton’s Idrissa Gana Gueye singles Beto out for special praise
Beto’s performance against Leicester was hailed by Everton fans who also slammed Sean Dyche for the lack of opportunities he handed the striker.
It was a dazzling return to the starting XI for the Portuguese forward who equalled Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s Premier League tally for the season.
After the game, Gueye was spotted waiting for Beto – who applauded the fans – to congratulate him on his performance.
The 35-year-old could be seen giving Beto a hug as he walked in front of the Gwladys Street End to thank the fans.
Gueye has entered fresh contract talks with Everton as his current deal is set to expire at the end of the campaign.
Everton fans will be relieved to see the Portuguese striker still at the club following Torino’s interest in Beto this year.
But with some serious injuries up top, Beto is going nowhere before Monday’s deadline.
Everton still need to sign a striker before Monday’s deadline
For as good as Beto was against Leicester, playing the remainder of the season with one fit, senior striker is a recipe for diastser.
There is some hope Armando Broja’s injury is not as serious as first feared, but he is still set for a period on the sidelines.
And it is the same story for Dominic Calvert-Lewin who could return from injury in weeks.
However, none of the three strikers currently out have shown any ability to remain fit over the long-term.
Everton need an answer up top and cannot afford to risk overplaying Beto by not signing another striker before the deadline on Monday.
