The three Leeds United players Angus Kinnear could look to sign for Everton in the summer

A big summer lies ahead for Everton with considerable changes expected to be made both on and off the pitch.

David Moyes was shocked by how much PSR affected Everton over the January transfer window as the Toffees only added one new player.

A number of Everton players are set to see their contracts expire at the end of the season, leaving the Friedkins with some considerable decisions to make.

Questions remain over the future of Kevin Thelwell at Everton with the director of football also set to be out of contract in the summer.

It does appear that Angus Kinnear is set to join Everton from Leeds United and he could potentially bring over a number of players from the Whites.

Here are three players which Everton News feel could potentially be on Kinnear’s radar if he makes the move to Merseyside.

Manor Solomon is on Everton’s radar

Although Manor Solomon is technically a Tottenham Hotspur player, the winger has spent the season on loan at Elland Road.

Everton are showing an interest in Solomon ahead of the summer, with the 25-year-old available for £20m.

Solomon has enjoyed a stunning season in the Championship where he has benefitted from regular minutes under Daniel Farke.

The only potential concern is Solomon being keen to return to Yorkshire over the summer with Leeds looking likely to gain automatic promotion to the Premier League.

Wilfried Gnonto is a long-term Everton target

Solomon is not the only winger at Leeds who has caught the attention of those at Goodison Park over recent years.

Wilfried Gnonto is a long-term target for Everton, with the Toffees having looked at the Italian winger in recent transfer windows.

Gnonto has been able to return five goals and five assists in the Championship this season, but he has not found the back of the net since early December.

Over the summer, it was suggested Gnonto was keen to sign for Everton as he sought a move away from Elland Road.

Again, it would remain uncertain whether Gnonto would still be keen to leave Leeds after he signed a new deal in August.

Junior Firpo has excelled for Leeds this season

Moyes wants Everton to sign a new full-back, with the Toffees in desperate need of adding some competition for Vitaliy Mykolenko.

Junior Firpo has been one of the standout performers for the Whites this seen at left-back with a seriously impressive attacking contribution.

It is a position which Everton need to add to with Mykolenko having been criticised by some Everton fans at certain points this season.

Ironically, Mykolenko’s crossing has been slammed by some fans, but on Wednesday night, he provided the assist for Jake O’Brien’s equaliser against Brentford.

This would perhaps be the most ambitious of potential moves from Kinnear, with the 28-year-old really asserting himself in the Leeds starting XI.
