The compelling transfer storyline of Beto continues as the question still remains whether he will stay at Goodison Park this January.

Beto has been the main Everton player who’s captured the headlines in terms of the transfer window.

The striker has been linked with a move for quite some time as Beto began watching Torino games with the 26-year-old supposedly forcing a move to Turin.

It’s not something the fanbase will be too concerned about after Everton fans were unhappy with Beto against Brighton.

Recent reports have suggested Beto has had ‘heated’ conversations with David Moyes but that might not be true.

Beto not trying to force Everton move this January

The Friedkin Group said Beto can leave on loan but at this stage who knows what is happening with the Guinea-Bissau striker.

Torino haven’t been happy with how the Beto situation has unfolded as Everton have made it ‘terribly complicated’.

The likelihood is growing that Beto could leave this January, but time is running out in the window.

However, the whole scenario may have come to an end as Journalist, Harry Watkinson has said, he understands that Beto is not trying to force a move away from Everton this month, contrary to the reports that he’s had talks about an exit with Moyes.

Everton would be silly to let Beto go this January

It would be a silly move on Moyes’ behalf if Everton let the striker go this window.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s injury against Brighton has thrown the whole situation sideways with the Toffees scrambling for the striker’s replacement.

It doesn’t look like a move is coming to fruition for Evan Ferguson who is of interest to Everton so it leaves Moyes with one choice.

Keep Beto. As much as the fans won’t like it after his Brighton display, it could be the resurgence the striker needs.
